On March 10 eight IPON awards were presented.
The IPON Awards aim to ensure that ICT companies that focus on education are branded with a quality label. The company then is distinguished by its innovation, quality and originality. Last year there was the large number of registrations, this year it doubled to 70 +

Bob Hofman en ICT&E
Vrijwel exact tien jaar geleden startte Bob Hofman met zijn organisatie ICT&E, gebaseerd op de 7 C’s van Global Learning (internationaal leren): Communication – Connection – Collaboration – Creation – Community – Culture – Care in Learning. Bob heeft de gave om kinderen van alle nationaliteiten bij elkaar te brengen en gebruikt daarvoor alle mogelijke ict-middelen. Hij stond aan de basis van Global Teenagers (IICD), een netwerk van ruim zestienduizend leerlingen in meer dan 40 landen. Zijn inspirerende Learning Circles haalt de wereld in de klas en helpt de klas de wereld in. Bob roept het niet alleen, Bob maakt het mogelijk.

Bob Hofman and ICT&E
Almost exactly ten years ago Bob Hofman started ICT&E, based on the 7 C’s of Global Learning (International Learning): Communication – Connection – Collaboration – Creation – Community – Culture – Care in learning. Bob has the gift to bring children of all nationalities together by using ICT resources. He was the main stay of Global Teenagers (IICD), a network of over sixteen thousand students in over 40 countries. His inspiring Learning Circles brings the world into the classroom and helps the class in the world.

Bob Hofman draagt samen met zijn team op bijzondere wijze bij aan de internationalisering van het onderwijs en maakt daarbij gebruik van alle ict-middelen die voorhanden zijn.
