VO Learning Circles
De pilot Kennisnet wil goed onderzoeken wat er nodig is om een dergelijk concept succesvol te lanceren op grote schaal. Daarom organiseren we een pilot met 8 scholen die enthousiast zijn over dit idee en de gelegenheid hebben om in de hierna genoemde periode deel te nemen met 8 groepen leerlingen.

In this Learning Circle Project students from the 8th untill 12th grade focus on virtual collaborative learning around the celebration of 60 years freedom. With a special focus on the liberation at the end of second World War.This learning Circle is a collaboration between six Dutch and six Canadian Twinschools from New Brunswick Canada. Of course the collaborative learning aporach is meant to be reciprocal; it’s benificial for every school and individual student; no ‘acivities on top’ the regular curriculum!Possible topics in the Learning Circle ‘Liberation; 60 years of freedom’ are:

In this Learning Circle Project students from the 9th and/or 10th grade focus on virtual collaborative learning around a social theme. The teachers in Dutch schools selected ‘labour and the local labour market’ as a valuable item. The collaboration with schools abroad is a warm wish from the Dutch Steiner schools. Your input will enrich the learning of the students and will be highly appreciated. Of course the collaborative learning is meant to be reciprocal; it should be an advantage for schools abroad too!! Students have a high level of ownership in the Learning Circle process: they ask questions (one per circle member) and do research to be able to answer the LC questionsPossible topics in the Learning Circle labour are:
Idea is to first focus on labour aspects connected to youth and then switch to economical subject like labour from a general perceptive; to compare local (labour / economical) situations by doing research by students on request Learning Circle partners |
